From The Principal

Family,

I hope this message finds each of you well and enjoying this beautiful weather. We are one week closer to closing out and putting a cap on the end of this year.  I am going to keep this one short for you all.

I would like to congratulate a couple of our teams for their accomplishments this week.  Our women’s track team took home the Virginia High School State Championship!    This talented group of ladies finished the year just as they started!  Congratulations to this group!  The Distance Team also faired very well as they placed 5th in both the boys and girls 4x800 meter races as well as 5th and 7th in the 3200 meter races!

We should also congratulate our women’s soccer team for winning the Women’s Occoquan Region Championship on Friday by defeating Alexandria City HS 4-0.

Our guitar students put on their year-end concert on Tuesday evening.  This concert featured another group of talented individuals engaged in the activity they are so passionate about.

Please be sure to have your children return all of their books and materials that need to be returned. We are collecting student laptops this year so that they can be re-imaged and any thing that might be wrong with the device that can be fixed to improve performance can be dealt with.

Well that is all that I have this week.  For those of you who will be attending the graduation, I look forward to seeing you on Monday. For the rest of you, I will be chatting with you all next week!  Thank you once again for your support and your trust in caring for your children. Take care.  #OneStallion
