EOY Reminders
Medication Pick Up
- All student medication must be picked up prior to dismissal on the last day of school.
- Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded.
- Medication can only be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student.
- Please contact Ms. Fick, our health room aide at 703-227-5410 if you have additional questions.
Return your Library Books
- It is not too late to return your library books. If you have an LTES library book at home or in your backpack, please return it to school next week.
2021-22 Yearbooks are Available
- Yearbooks are available and will be delivered on June 6th to students that previously ordered a yearbook.
- We have a limited supply of yearbooks that will go on sale Tuesday, June 7 at 8:05-8:25 AM, in the front lobby. The cost of the yearbook is $20.00.
- Please send in cash and the exact amount for the number of yearbooks you would like to purchase. Yearbooks will be sold until all copies are gone.
Last Day Dismissal at 1:05 p.m.
- Please remember that the last day of school is June 10. Students will be dismissed at 1:05 p.m.
Progress Reports Sent Home on June 10
- Progress Report cards will go home with students on Friday, June 10.
- If your child will not be in school please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope to the main office.
- Parents can also access their child’s Progress Report starting on June 11th via ParentVUE.
Summer Office Hours
- The LTES office will be open in the summer from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
- Summer office hours run from June 15 - July 29.
- Regular office hours will resume on Monday, August 1.

Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications Due This Summer
 For the past two years, the federal government has provided no-cost meals to all public school students without the need to complete the annual Free and Reduced-Price Meal application. The extension of the no-cost meals benefit to all students is expected to expire at the end of this school year, meaning families must submit an application and be approved to be eligible for free and reduced price meals for the 2022-23 school year.
Eligible families are encouraged to submit the Free and Reduced-Price Meal application before the first day of the 2022-23 school year. Click here to learn more about Free and Reduced meals in FCPS. The online application will be available later this summer and accessible via the FCPS homepage.
Students approved for Free and Reduced-Price Meals may qualify for additional benefits such as waived or reduced fees for instruments, uniforms, field trips, FCPS class fees, and Parktakes classes.
Join us for Public Safety Day on June 11th @ 11a.m.
Come and enjoy a day with our community and Public Safety family. Food, drinks, games, therapy dogs, K9s, cruisers, robots, helicopters, etc. will be a part of our day. All are welcome to attend.
