What's Happening at Mount Eagle
June 3, 2022
Preparing for the Final Week of 2021-22
We can't believe the year is coming to a close. So much has happened since we opened the doors on August 23--changing COVID protocols, vaccinations, snow days, laptops for everyone and more! The amount of growth we've seen in our students, both academically and socially, has been incredible. If you will be leaving Mount Eagle this year, whether to go on to middle school or to a new school, we wish you well and will miss you!
Teachers are focused on continued instruction through next week. Thank you for continuing to check for library books and sending them in. Any students with strings or band instruments must also turn them in.
Laptops & power cords will be returned on Wednesday & Thursday. The cost for a missing power cord is $23. The replacement cost for the laptop is $481.
Yearbooks will be distributed next week. If you would still like to purchase a yearbook for $16, there are some left. Please stop by the office to pay $16.
Grade 6 students will have their Promotion Ceremony on Thursday morning at 10:00 am followed by refreshments.
Dismissal on Friday will be at 1:30pm. Students will have their final progress report as well as supply lists for next year. The supply list will also be posted on our school website this summer. As a reminder, kindergarten students will still need to be met at the afternoon bus stop.
Have a great summer!

Saying Goodbye...
After 10 years at Mount Eagle, we are sad to say goodbye to Ms. Gabriela Codispoti. As our administrative assistant, Gabriela has been at the center of making this an amazing school. Hundreds of families and staff members have come to know her kindness, attention to detail and generous spirit. She will be moving to Florida and to her home country of Brazil where she will care for family. Ms. Codispoti will be missed. Don't hesitate to stop by or send a note to say goodbye.

Your Partners In Education
We are honored to work with your family this year and will work everyday to ensure a safe and positive learning environment for your child. We can't do it alone. Please contact us when there is a question or concern, especially related to bullying. As a parent, you will often hear about something before staff might. Thank you for all your support.
