Yearbook Distribution
Yearbooks will be distributed to sixth graders who pre-ordered today, May 31st. Tomorrow, they will be distributed to everyone else who pre-ordered. We have a VERY limited number of extra yearbooks available. They will be sold on June 1st to sixth graders only. On June 2nd, sales are open to everyone, first come, first served. Yearbooks are $20. Please send exact change or a check made out to Oak Hill ES.
FCPS Device Collection
We will collect all FCPS issued laptops AND chargers for the summer.
**We do NOT need any cases returned**
Kindergarten- Grade 1
These laptops are already in the classrooms and will not be collected. We DO need all chargers returned. If you still have one at home please return it to your child’s teacher or you will be charged $28 for a replacement.
Grade 6
These laptops will be collected during the school day on Tuesday, June 7.
Grades 2-5
These laptops will be collected during the school day on Wednesday, June 8.
LAPTOP CARE
- All laptops need to be cleaned prior to being returned; stickers removed and residue cleaned- DO NOT remove the barcode.
- The laptop’s plastic pocket should have the student ID card. If it is missing please write the student name and ID number on a piece of paper and put this in the sleeve.
- All power cords must be neatly wrapped.
- Do not return the laptop case.
LOST LAPTOPS OR CHARGERS
If you have lost your laptop or charger, there is a cost for replacement. Checks need to be made out to Oak Hill Elementary.
- Charger: $23
- Computer: $481
Payment for lost charger and/or laptop can be made using MySchoolBucks. Please follow these directions to make your payment:
- Sign on to MySchoolBucks
- Select School Store Payments (School Fees)
- Select the icon for which you are paying “Lost or Damaged Cables/Power Cords” or “Lost or Damaged Laptop”
- Select your child’s name
- Select the item for which you are paying
- Follow the process for payment
SUMMER PROGRAM
If your child is participating in an FCPS Summer Program that is NOT at Floris Elementary, they will need to keep their laptops. If they are attending the SOAR program at Floris, a computer will be provided for them. They will need to turn their computers in at the above date. If your child is attending an FCPS program that is not SOAR, please fill out this form by June 3, 2022, to inform us that your child will need to keep their laptop over the summer.
