Dear Beech Tree Staff & Community:
Our wonderful assistant principal, Maureen Lopez has been afforded, by the Region, a different leadership opportunity for the 2022-2023 school year. We are going to miss Ms. Lopez immensely, and we understand the importance of multiple leadership opportunities, in a variety of school communities, for our aspiring school principals. Ms. Lopez will support Braddock Elementary School, as an assistant principal, effective July 1, 2022. We want to thank Ms. Lopez for her incredible leadership during her tenure at our school. We want to wish Ms. Lopez the best as she continues to refine her leadership practices in a different school community; what an amazing learning opportunity. We also want to welcome Ms. Bridget Louder from Woodburn Elementary School, who, as well, has been afforded a leadership opportunity as an assistant principal here at Beech Tree Elementary School. Ms. Louder brings a variety of instructional and leadership practices that will complement the work we already have in place in our school. We cannot wait to introduce Ms. Louder to our school community as she continues her personal and professional journey in FCPS.
