Student Laptops and Mifi Devices Must be Returned

All students at Weyanoke Elementary have been given access to a laptop computer to use for learning. These computers must be returned to the school before the last day of school for this year.

If a child is participating in an FCPS summer program, they will get a computer when that program begins. All devices will be sanitized and updated this summer, and necessary repairs and upgrades will take place.

Students must return all of the following items:

  • Student laptop with student nametag
  • Charging cord for student laptop
  • For students in grades 3 and 4 who received one, they should also return the neoprene laptop sleeve (case). Fifth grade students should KEEP the case but DO NOT DISCARD IT. They can use it again with their middle school laptop.

If your family has a school-provided Mifi device for home internet, these must also be returned to the school.

All technology items should be returned through the student's classroom teacher.

Students returning to Weyanoke next year will get the same or newer one-to-one device and carrying case as needed by grade level.
