Good Afternoon Waples Mill Families,
Here are this week's updates:
End-of-Year Medication Pickup Information
 |
|
The school health room is reminding parents and guardians that all medication stored in the health room must be picked up no later than the student dismissal time on the last day of school (June 10, 2022). Medication left in the health room after that time will be discarded. It is school policy that medications must be picked up by the parent or guardian. Medication cannot be sent home with your student.
Medication authorization forms for next school year may be obtained from the school or online (please click here.)
If you have any questions, please contact Cheryl Phillips, our school health room aide, at (703) 390-7700. Thank you!

2022-2023 Optional Class Placement Survey
As we determine class placements for the upcoming school year, please know that it is a collaborative process involving the teachers and specialists who work with your child. This team effort is performed with great care. It is our intention to place each student in an environment appropriate to his or her academic, social, and emotional development. If you would like to share any additional information about your child that their current teacher may not be aware of, please go to our school website (https://waplesmilles.fcps.edu/), then click on the 2022-23 Optional Class Placement Survey. We carefully consider parent input, but ask that you not request specific teachers. Requests for specific teachers cannot be honored.
Completion of this form is optional. Please return the completed form by clicking the submit button no later than Monday, June 6. We cannot consider late requests. Thank you.
