Stenwood Hive Happenings

Hive Happenings Newsletter

Dear Stenwood Families,

It is hard to believe we only have three short weeks left!

What an exciting week we have had in the Hive!  Field day was absolutely wonderful yesterday.  Thank you to Mrs. Udasco and Mrs. Opsahl for creating an amazing day filled with so many fun activities and events for everyone!  Also thank you to all of the amazing parent volunteers for coming to support the stations.  I think some of you had as much fun as the students!

Another exciting thing happened, Dr. Mitchell welcomed the two newest Stingers earlier this week.  They were very early, arriving at 28 weeks.  She knows everyone is sending her all the love and well wishes as she starts this journey.  In the interim, Keith Hall, a retired FCPS administrator will be filling in for the remainder of the year.  He joined us this morning, hopefully you will have the opportunity to meet him during one of the many events that are coming up at the end of this year.

I look forward to seeing a lot of you this evening at the Flip Flop Hop!

As the weather gets warmer in the afternoons, our Lost and Found is growing.  Our amazing Photo Bees, with the help of Mrs. Krum, have digitally photographed the collection.  Here is a Lost and Found Video Slideshow of the items through last week.
