Dear Westbriar Families,
In less than four weeks, we will be closing out our 2021-2022 school year. I know everyone is looking forward to a much needed summer break. Teachers will be sending out communication regarding end of the year procedures regarding your child’s laptop return. In order to not miss important end of the year information and deadlines, please be sure you are receiving your child’s class newsletter and other important information posted in our weekly Wednesday Folder emails.
This is our last week of full SOL testing, the rest of our SOL testing window will be focused on retakes and make-ups. Thank you families for ensuring your child/children got a good nights sleep and came ready to take their SOLs.

Last Parent Workshop
We have had three parent workshops and have received positive feedback from attendees regarding the information shared and how helpful the information has been to families. Our last scheduled parent workshop for this school year is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 24th at 7pm. If you are interested, it is not too late to sign up to hear Ms. Rachel Bailey talk about “Children with healthy self esteem” via zoom. 2022 Parent Input Survey Reminder
Each year, parents have the option to provide insight and information about their child(dren) to Principal Tam regarding class placement for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. Specific teacher requests will not be accepted due to possible staffing changes that can occur throughout the summer. The link can be accessed here: https://forms.gle/ifSvuem9isiKTxqF8
Deadline to submit the optional form is Friday, May 22nd.
