The Bush Hill Music Department is gearing up for our Spring Concert. The Band, Orchestra and Chorus Spring Concert will be the evening of Thursday, May 19th at 7 PM. We will be outside on the blacktop. Families should bring their own chairs/blankets to sit on.
Students who are in band, orchestra, or chorus should dress up for the concert. Students should wear white shirts and black (dark) pants or skirts. We would prefer that the shirts have no writing on them. Chorus will be standing on risers for their concert. Please encourage your child to choose shoes which will allow them to stand comfortably.
Please remember that all students must be accompanied to and from the performances by an adult. We look forward to seeing you at our Spring Concert!

Bush Hill PTA Board
This year we have 55 3rd-6th grade girls participating in Girls on the Run! They have worked hard all season to prepare for their 5k this Sunday. Throughout the season, they have learned about female empowerment, and various ways to be good friends, community members, and teammates. Each week, they have improved their stamina in preparation for the end of season 5k.
Come out to support our girls as they race in the GOTR 5k this Sunday, May 22 at 8am in Arlington at Wellburn Square.

With the books donated, we will be hosting a Summer Reading Book Bus!! Come get books for summer and a popsicle Monday, May 23rd and June 6th 😊 See stops and dates below.
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Bush Hill Elementary School is pleased to inform you of a summer program, Bridge to Kindergarten, designed for students entering kindergarten this fall. The program will focus on daily kindergarten routines, math, and literacy experiences, and becoming familiar with the school environment. We believe your student would benefit from participation in this program.
The Bridge to Kindergarten program will begin on July 11th and end on July 29th and meet four hours daily, Monday through Friday from 9:40 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. There is no tuition or fee for this program and bus transportation will be available from within our school boundaries. Please complete the student registration packet if you are interested in enrolling your student in this exciting opportunity. The attached student information form will need to be completed and returned to Bush Hill Elementary School.
If your student is not currently registered for kindergarten in the fall, you will need to contact our school and complete the necessary paperwork before registering for this program.
We hope that your student will be able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to attend Bridge to Kindergarten! Space is limited, and registration is done on a first come first served basis.
