Summer Classes SAT & ACT

Registration opens soon! Tentative start date 7/23 prepping for 8/27 SAT and 9/10 ACT.

All on-campus classes and mock tests are in Gunston, Room 190 pod. Park in Academy lot, enter door 10/Academy.

Why Try the ACT?

  • Accepted Everywhere – yes, really! Every college accepts it without prejudice.
  • It’s Concrete – The SAT can be abstract but the ACT is more straightforward without the added step of interpreting the question. ACT is clear about what you are being asked.
  • No Hunting for Specific Lines – There are no multi-step questions in the ACT Reading section, so no time spent hunting for evidence in specific lines.
  • Less Fatigue – The ACT sections are short so you don’t have to worry about focus fade or boredom setting in.
  • Aggressive Guessing Yields High Scores – ACT is fast paced, but you can guess on select problems and do great!
  • Straightforward Word Problems – ACT word problems are simple and the correct operations are more obvious than on the SAT. No pulling equations out of complex narratives!
  • Science Section is not hard-core science! The questions are all about testing your ability to move quickly through charts, tables, and graphs.
