As we wrap up teacher appreciation week, we would like to send a big “Thank You” to our wonderful community and PTA for their generosity for teacher appreciation week. A special note of appreciation goes out to Jessica Kennedy and her Teacher Appreciation team: Rachel Murphy, Leila Kizer, Russ Douglass, and Emily Chappell for spearheading the efforts.
Our Kindergarten Round Up went very well last Friday. Although our Round Up session was completed, we are still registering students for the new school year. Please visit our home page to complete an intake form:

Strings Concert
We have rescheduled the Strings Concert for Thursday, May 12th. The concert will be performed in two groups, 1 hour apart. The concert will take place in the school’s gym. We will use the cafeteria entrance near the flagpole.
6:00 PM- 4th grade, 7:00 PM- 5th/6th grade
Students and families are asked to arrive 15- 20 minutes ahead of their child’s concert start time.
We will provide an update for the band concert soon.
Registration Delayed for Transition Program for Rachel Carson Middle School's Rising 7th Graders.
Hello families of rising 7th grade RCMS students.
Thank you to all students and families who are interested in our RCMS 101 summer program. The opening of registration for RCMS 101 will be delayed. The new start date for registration will be May 8, 2022. We will send additional information to families this week with new details about the registration process. The dates for the summer program remain the same (Session 1: Aug. 1 and 2; Session 2: Aug. 3 and 4).

Basketball Game vs SVES, May 6
Bring your whole family to the premier event of the school year, on May 6th, @ South Lakes high school! Come cheer on our teachers and 6th graders as they take on Sunrise Valley Elementary school! Be sure to bring your Fox Mill pride…and your appetites! Students in grades K-3 are invited to come welcome the athletes in the high-five tunnel, and there will be plenty of food for sale (pre-orders preferred, as there will be a limited supply of extras onsite) and a FMES sponsored bake sale! We can’t wait to see you there! Lucia's subs, Domino's Pizza, and Chick-fil-A sandwiches are among the items available for pre-order on Pay4SchoolStuff.
