Field Day is Back!

We’re so excited that Deer Park will be holding its first in-person Field Day since 2018! There will be lots of fun games, relays and team-building activities for the whole school! We have an amazing Field Day planned for everyone, and we need your help to make it a success.

We look at the best environment and relationships when determining placement and cannot accept requests for specific teachers. Completing this form is not required.

Celebrate Deer Park Week |
The Deer Park Staff Equity Committee has organized a “Celebrate Deer Park Week” for our school.
When: May 16-20
Why: To celebrate and learn about what makes each student here at Deer Park unique
What: Easy daily activities will occur in classrooms each day of the week along with a display of paper dolls/flags around the school that students create at home (papers for this were in the Thursday, May 5th Thursday Folder). The week will culminate with a dress up day on Friday, March 20 (dress in Deer Park colors, clothes to celebrate your culture, or clothing to show your favorite hobbies) and a school wide parade on the first floor.
The Deer Park Elementary Yard Sale is coming soon and looking for donations!
If you have items around your house that you are willing to donate to the yard sale, please drop them off with the front office. Funds made from the yard sale will go directly back to Deer Park. The yard sale will be held on Sunday, May 22nd from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The tables will be inside the school in the front lobby. We will be accepting items until Thursday, May 19th.

- Small Appliances (*small items: toasters, blenders, can openers, etc)

Westfield Field Hockey Camp and SYA Field Hockey Clinic
Westfield Field Hockey has a fantastic program. Field Hockey is a great sport with an awesome coaching staff! There are several opportunities happening in the next month for elementary and middle school girls to try field hockey, learn about the game and meet the Westfield coaches and players.
Below is a flyer for two upcoming SYA clinics (1st-8th gr) run by the Westfield coaches and players. The other is a flyer for the Westfield Field Hockey Camp (5th-10th gr).

Bucky’s Block Party-NEXT WEEK!
We’re one week away!

Join us Friday, May 20th 6:00-8:00 p.m. for games, obstacle course, fire truck tours, Bach to Rock bands, face painting, balloon animals by Smiling Faces Party Entertainment cotton candy and sno cones, and a 50/50 raffle!

Tickets are $5 for unlimited games and the obstacle course. Wristbands are available for purchase ahead of time by sending in the flier with cash or check or click here to purchase online, they'll also be available for purchase at the event. Pickup pre-purchased wristbands at Bucky's Block Party.
We are in need of a few more parent and high school volunteers to help make this event a success.
