Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
We are thankful for our staff and the work they have done this school year to support students. This week is a special occasion to honor the work of our incredible team and appreciate the passion, commitment and care they bring our students.

Bike to School Day is Tomorrow, Wednesday May 4th!
Students in Fairfax County public schools will participate in this annual event in an effort to promote physical activity and reduce traffic congestion and pollution near schools. Bikes, scooters, walking; its ALL welcome! Students should travel with an adult, use hand signals on the road when biking, and wear a helmet. Join us this Wednesday!

Volunteer Gift
Thank you to our Chesterbrook parent volunteers who help organize, plan and coordinate so many amazing events for our students. The recent weeks have been so refreshing to see our grade level activities back in place including our incredible fun fair. News from Longfellow MS
The Longfellow Theater Department would like to invite your students to a free dress rehearsal performance of our production of The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition on Wednesday, May 11th at 4:30 pm. Students must provide their own transportation and be accompanied by an adult. Students will be invited to stay after the production if they wish, to take pictures with the characters, or ask questions about the Longfellow Theater program. Fun Fair Success
Sending a shoutout to all our families who came, volunteered and celebrated the return of Fun Fair. It was a beautiful day and the smiles on the faces of our children said it all. Thank you to Linanne Breslin and Claire Erlanger who Chaired the event planning.
