Virginia Hills Baptist Church

Summer Camps 2022

We are incredibly excited to introduce our new summer camp program!  This program consists of individual weekly themed camps of a variety of topics/subjects.

We are offering camps each week from June 13 - August 12 for each of our 3 age groups:

3 years old - 5 years old

kindergarten - 2nd grade

3rd grade - 6th grade

We will also have an additional camp for elementary school-aged children during the week of August 15-19.

Our camp program runs from 9:00am-3:30pm, but not all camps are the whole 6.5 hours.  We have some morning camps (9:00am-12:00pm) and some afternoon camps (12:30pm-3:30pm).

Any child registered for both a morning and afternoon camp on the same week will have a supervised lunch from 12:00pm-12:30pm.

Children will need to bring their own lunch and a water bottle labeled with their name.

Every registration has a $10 fee.  We reserve the right to cancel camps due to low registration.

change

Please remember to notify the school office of any of the following changes that come up for your child.

Notification should be made by 9:00am on the day of the change.

  • Absence
  • Late arrival
  • Planned early pick-up or mid-day appointment (pick-up and return)
    • If your child needs to be picked up unexpectedly, please call the office (703-822-2200) in advance of your arrival
    • This allows the office to contact your child’s teacher to prepare your child for their departure
    • For early pick-ups after 3:00pm, please park on Kathmoor as the school buses start to arrive for dismissal at that time and the front parking lot will be off limits
  • Changes in dismissal mode (https://franconiaes.fcps.edu/about/change-dismissal-form)

Below are the 3 options by which to notify the school office (choose one option):

Please do this IN ADDITION to contacting your child's teacher.  There could be times when the teacher is absent and, by also contacting the office, the information will be properly noted.

To email your child’s teacher, click HERE.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
