Throughout the month of May students in grades 3-6 will be taking state required SOL tests. We ask that you are mindful of these dates when scheduling doctors appointments or vacations.
As a school we are required to collect permission to retest for ALL students. Any student whose first attempt falls within the 375-399 score range will have the option to retest. Please complete this google form so that we can collect ALL families' preferences.

Virginia law requires that all children who will reach their 5th birthday on or before September 30, 2022, must be enrolled in kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year, unless the parent or guardian notifies the school in writing that they do not wish the child to attend school until the following year.
If you have a child who will attend kindergarten at Lake Anne Elementary next year, and you have not already registered them, please contact Melinda Rivas at 703-326-3500.

* If your student currently attends Lake Anne ES, you do not need to

Are you looking for programming during school breaks in the winter, spring and summer? Do you need to secure before school and after school childcare? School Age Child Care (SACC) may be a great environment for your student. Join Lake Anne family liaisons and staff from the Fairfax County Office for Children on Wednesday, May 11 from 11:00 am - 12 noon for an informative session on SACC curriculum and how to request SACC services for your student.
