Keene Mill Fun Run/Boosterthon

fun run

The Kanga Fun Run is this Wednesday, April 20th.  The Booster team creates an exciting and invigorating experience that includes high-energy music, themed dance laps, and lots of smiles and laughter.  Students are encouraged to wear a Keene Mill T-shirt or a shirt in the school colors of Red or Blue.

Families are invited to come watch and cheer on the students as they get outside and run to raise funds for the school.  The run will take place on the baseball fields behind the school on two tracks, red & blue.  All visitors to school grounds will need to check in at a table set up near the fields.  Please come to the far right side of the playground to access the fields.  We ask that, if possible, younger siblings not attend.

Fun Run Times for Wednesday, April 20

5th & 6th: 9:30am – 10:30am

3rd & 4th: 11:45am – 12:45pm

Thank you to everyone who has REGISTERED, SHARED AND DONATED on http://mybooster.com.  There is still time to register and share.  Every Share Counts!

We are so close to reaching our ultimate goal of raising $25,000 for improving outside school areas including outdoor classroom items, along with other PTA and school projects/activities.  Besides raising funds for these great projects, the students are trying to win the ultimate reward of scooter races featuring the principals, teachers and even some students.

Did you know that Boosterthon teams with Double the Donation to easily find companies that will match your donations?  After completing the donation process, you will be asked to search for your employer.  This is an easy way to give even more to Keene Mill.

Tuesday's NIGHTLY CHALLENGE is the LAST NIGHT CHALLENGE.  The class with the most donations on Tuesday will win a Booster Recess Kit.

Throughout the last week, students have joined the Sports City World Wide team in trying to solve the mystery of the stolen films of student-athletes.  Along the way, they've traveled around the world to meet kids just like them and learn valuable character traits.  Make sure to ask them how the mystery was solved on Wednesday.
