Principal Message

Wolverine Community,

I hope this week’s message finds you rested after spring break last week and ready for a great end to the year.  Spring sports are in full swing, our Spring Musical Be More Chill has opening night this coming Wednesday, SOL/AP Testing is right around the corner and our Class of 2022 only has 30 school days left!  9th-11th grade Students and Parents will receive their SOL Testing Notices and more information around SOL testing next week.  Speaking of AP Testing, we are very much in need of community volunteers.  Your assistance helps ensure we have the correct number of proctors in the main gym for our AP tests and prevents us from being further spread thin with proctoring as we navigate SOL and AP Testing the first two weeks of May.  If you are interested and available to support, please visit this link and thank you in advance!

Also as spring has sprung, I would like to provide you some reminders about picking up your child afterschool.  The residents on Stokes Lane that boarder the schools property have had issues with parents parking on their street, waiting to pick up their child and blocking access.  Stokes Lane is a private road, not a county road.  If you are picking up your child you need to use the kiss and ride loop.  If you want to avoid some of the traffic, wait to pick up your child at 3:15, all busses and drivers have cleared out of the loop by then.  If that does not work for you, then your child can always take the school bus home.  Thank you for being considerate of our Stokes Ln neighbors moving forward.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Ms. Millard
