Third Quarter Report Cards

CORRECTION 

SIS ParentVue and SIS StudentVue Gradebook and Report Card Modules will be unavailable   Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 4pm until Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 6 am. After April 16, 3rd Quarter Report cards will be visible in SIS StudentVue and ParentVue. A copy of your child’s report card will be sent home on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.


SEL Screener

This year, FCPS is administering the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener to students.  The first administration for middle school students was in October, and the spring administration for Cooper will be on Wednesday, April 20th during block 4.  In order to ensure clarity around participation, enrolling parents listed SIS received an email from Cooper’s School Test Coordinator, Courtney Derr, on April 11th with their child’s Screener status.  Please review the email carefully.  Additional information about the SEL Screener is available on the FCPS website: https://www.fcps.edu/node/43892.


Cooper/Longfellow Game, April 21 

Tickets for the Cooper/Longfellow Game are being sold in ALL lunches. Tickets are $5 and will not be sold at the door. The game is at Mclean HS Thursday 4/21 6PM-8PM. Doors open at 5PM. 


Pine Springs Book Drive

The SCA is sponsoring a book drive for Pine Springs Elementary.

The collection period will be April 11th-29th, donations can be brought to the front office. Donated books count for service hours.


How to Raise an Adult returns to McLean on April 26th!

Relevant to parents of toddlers as well as of twentysomethings, How to Raise an Adult is a rallying cry for those who wish to ensure that the next generation can take charge of their own lives with competence and confidence.
