RHES Updates

Dear RHES Parents & Guardians,

We welcomed back students yesterday after what we hope was a restful and fun-filled spring break. The kids were excited to see their friends and teachers! Below are a few updates that we wanted to share:

  • Prior to the pandemic, RHES hosted a mentor program in coordination with the Fairfax County Police Department. We are happy to share the news that this program is back up and running so if you happen to see a police vehicle parked in the school parking lot, know that it's likely because of the mentor program.
  • A reminder that student spring pictures will be taking place this Monday, April 18th. Once the preview picture package has been sent home, you can then decide whether or not you'd like to make a purchase.
  • We have had very few people respond to the student intent survey. Please complete this online form to let us know if you will or will not be returning to RHES next school year. Having this information helps tremendously with our planning.
  • In-person Kindergarten Orientation will held this Thursday at 5:00 in the gym. If you have or know of a rising Kindergartener and did not attend the virtual orientation, you're invited to Thursday's event.
