Good Morning Parents & Families:
I can’t believe we have made it to April in the hopes some warmer weather will finally stick. I want to thank members of our NJHS for volunteering with our local VFW chapter last week, which is pictured above.)
Wishing each of you and your families some time to rest and recharge this Spring Break (April 4-8). This is a shorter message as we highlight a few things from the month of March and ask for your participation in two surveys as we reflect on quarter 3 and prepare for the last quarter of this school year.
After spring break, I will share with you all the end-of-year events as there are many opportunities to come together as a school community to honor, celebrate and enjoy time together. As always, I welcome your feedback and suggestions, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at mcnorris@fcps.edu.
In the meantime, you can expect the next principal’s message to return on April 16, 2022.

Orchestra District-Wide Assessment
A huge congratulations to the members of each of our Orchestra ensembles, as they received Superior ratings earlier this week during district-wide assessments. Congratulations to Ms. Sgrecci and her students for all their hard work. A big thank you to all of our staff and parent volunteers for supporting this field trip.

Thank you PTA and Parents
A huge thank you to our PTA for celebrating our staff as we close out the 3rd quarter and head into Spring Break. They did a great job providing breakfast yesterday morning; we are so grateful for their generosity and support!

Women’s History Month Feature
Throughout the month of March, our Panther News team created several feature stories on the news in honor of Women’s History month. Additionally, during our morning announcements, members of our Leadership class read a quote from an influential women as we say thank you to the many inspirational, fearless and incredible women. School Picture Day
School Spring Pictures are being taken on April 11th and April 12th. In order to take spring pictures, students must return the order form with payment on picture day or you may pre-order pictures online.
