CES Weekly Update 4.25.22

Principal's Message

When people ask what makes Chesterbrook special, aside from our wonderful students, I always say our wonderful PTA and parent volunteers. The Chesterbrook staff want to take this time to thank the parent volunteers across our school community that have helped us out this year. From  those serving on our PTA board, our amazing daily lunch crew volunteers, our Yearbook design team, those serving as PTA committee leads and those supporting as room parents, we are grateful for you! The bottom line is we cannot do all we do without our volunteers! We have a special gift to say thank you to all our parents volunteers that will be ready for pickup next week. We wanted to share our thanks for the many hours and dedication you provide to support our staff and students.

This week we also celebrate our amazing office staff. If you have ever needed assistance or reached out with a question, you have  experienced the quick and caring support of our team. Our Chesterbrook family is so lucky to have Pat, Holley, Dave and Doreen each and every day!

With greatest appreciation from your Administration

Stacy Kirkpatrick, Principal
Farris Thomas, Assistant Principal

Rising 7th Grade Open House

Longfellow is excited welcome our newest Lancers to our Rising 7th Grade Open House on May 19 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm!

Visitors will be able to walk the halls of Longfellow and see how our classrooms are set up, check out the cafeteria, hear from some of our student organizations and more! Longfellow administrators and counselors will be on hand to answer questions. There will not be a large-group presentation; this is an ‘Open House’ style event in which students may come with their family at any time during the evening.

If you have any questions, please contact Katie Madigan, Director of Student Services, at kemadigan@fcps.edu.
