Free online tutoring services for FCPS students from tutor.com

Bryant High School Families,

This is just a reminder for your planning that we have a 2 hour early closing on Thursday, March 31, because it is the end of the third grading period.  Additionally, Friday, April 1, is a Teacher Workday and a student holiday.  Students do not report to school this day.  The following week is our spring break and schools are closed from Monday, April 4 – Friday, April 8 with students and staff returning to start the fourth and final quarter of school on Monday, April 11.

You should be receiving in the mail information about free online tutoring services that FCPS will make available to all students through

Tutor.com.  Parents and Guardians have the option of “opting out” of tutoring but signed forms must be returned to Bryant High School or submitted through ParentVUE by April 11.  This mailing will have a link that you can reference to access more information about the services and tutoring opportunities for your child which will be available this spring and summer or you can go the county website for more information.

When we return from spring break on Monday, April 11, students will have about nine weeks left of the 2021 – 2022 school year so please make sure your child is attending school each day so that they can do well in all of their classes and be ready to take their end of year tests and assessments.  As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, call our main office at 703-660-2000.

Thanks,

Dr. Christopher S. Larrick, Principal
