Principals' Message

Dear Bonnie Brae School Community,

What a great week!  Yesterday marked the end of our 3rd grading period, and it also gave us the chance to meet our newest Scotties during our kindergarten orientation meet & greet. So much fun seeing their smiling faces as they toured the building and met our Bonnie Brae teachers and staff!

As a reminder, our school and office will be closed next week for Spring Break (April 4-8).

We will see our students back on Monday, April 11 for the beginning of the 4th quarter. We hope you are all able to take this time to connect as a family and you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous Spring Break!

Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) Elementary Continuum of Services

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is committed to challenging all students through talent development and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of advanced learners. FCPS offers a continuum of advanced academic services for all students in Grades K-12. The continuum of services approach allows for a focus on matching services rather than labeling students. Please review the AAP Spring Newsletter here (English / Spanish) to learn more about the levels of service as well as find links to referral forms and the AAP website.

Please reach out to Kaitlin Burg at kmburg@fcps.edu with any questions regarding the upcoming AAP spring screening timeline.
