STUDENT INTENTION FORM

On March 15, families received a Student Intention Form for the upcoming school year.  This form is new to Crossfield and will help us better prepare for the 2022-2023 school year.  Parents or guardians should complete and return to Crossfield. Thank you!

NNAT TESTING

(First Grade)

All first grade students will take the online version of the Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test Third Edition (NNAT3) on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. The NNAT3 is a nonverbal measure of general intellectual ability. The test evaluates a student’s reasoning and problem-solving skills through the identification of patterns involving geometric shapes and pictorial designs. The test is designed to assess ability without requiring the student to read, write, or speak. Students are not expected to know the answers to all questions and will be given opportunities to practice sample items before taking the test. The NNAT3 is an abilities test, so children are not expected to study or prepare for the test the way they would for an achievement test.

If you have any questions about this test, please contact the Advanced Academics Resource Teacher (AART), Melissa Graham, or School Test Coordinator, Lea Fadden, at Crossfield.

 LATE ARRIVAL?

EARLY RELEASE?  ABSENCE?

Please use our preferred method of reporting for a late arrival, early release or absence by going to the Crossfield Website and clicking on the blue ATTENDANCE box.  This process automatically notifies everyone in the front office of the change.  The front office is responsible for accurate attendance reporting and upon receipt of this online submission they will forward the information to the teacher.  Following this procedure reduces your wait time when you come to pick up your child and the number of automated calls from the county. Thank you!

Change in Transportation?

If you would like to report a change in your child's method of transportation for the day please use our online "Change in Transportation" form.  This type of reporting streamlines the process.  Our front office will respond to your submission to confirm receipt and cc your child's teacher.   Go to the Crossfield Website and click on the blue attendance box, then click on the "Looking to Submit a Change in Transportation" box.
