Welcome our PTES Family Liaison
Please help us welcome Denise Lorenz who is Poplar Tree's new Family Liaison. Ms. Lorenz is originally from Chile and speaks French and Spanish. She has worked for FCPS for 25 years as a teacher and retired at the end of last school year.Ā Ā Now that Ms. Lorenz is retired she decided to keep working for FCPS and is excited to join the Poplar Tree community as a Family Liaison. She personally remembers the frustration of not been able to help her ownĀ children during their school years because she didnāt know the system or the language.
Ms. Lorenz is excited to be in this Family Liaison position and is looking forward to helping families feel a part of our school community.
Ms. Lorenz can be contacted by calling the main office. She will be at Poplar Tree on Mondays and Tuesdays.
