Langley Volunteer Opportunity

The Ethics Day Committee needs your help to facilitate an all-day program on March 16th for almost 500 seniors!  If you are a parent of an underclassman, please consider volunteering for this rewarding event (friends and neighbors welcome!), no experience needed.

Ethics Day encourages seniors to determine their own ethical framework and equips them with decision-making tools they can use in life after high school when confronting ethical dilemmas.  Speakers present situations in three different modules and the volunteers encourage dialog among the seniors in small-group table discussions.

You can find more information and sign up here or contact Danica Alink.

Summer Courses Online

FCPS Online Campus Summer Courses are open for registration and available to eligible middle school students who meet prerequisites and technical requirements.  Students may take one online course for the first time or repeat credit.  Middle school students may not take a mathematics or world language course during the summer as their first-high school level mathematics or world language course.  Courses are rigorous; therefore, students should consult their counselor prior to registering.  Program information is available at Summer Learning.

Registration Calendar/Academic Advising

School Counselors are meeting individually with each student during PE or Block 4 for Academic Advising. Rising 8th graders visit Cooper’s school website and rising 9th graders visit Langley’s school website for more information.

Feel free to reach out to us with any questions! We look forward to working with you and your child.
