We are excited to celebrate this week of reading with our theme of Read, Write, and Get Things Done! Each day we will have a different focus for students to explore how books can be launching points for action. Below are the themes for each day.
Tuesday: How is it Made?
Wednesday: Nurturing Nature
Thursday: Try Something New
Thursday we will also celebrate book character day. We are encouraging students to dress up as their favorite book character. Please be sure costumes follow our Bush Hill dress code and do not include prop weapons or character masks that cover students' faces.
Throughout the week students will also have the opportunity to play Bush Hill Bingo! Each student will receive their bingo board on Monday and will have the week to complete different reading tasks at school or at home. Students who complete bingo can turn their boards into the library to be entered in a raffle to win fun prizes!
