Fox Mill Focus

02/04/2022

Already February…

Dear Fox Mill Families and Friends,

Hard to believe that we are already into the month of February. It was a great start to get a full week of instruction to begin the month! We had a wonderful five days with your children. We continue to observe a high level of engagement and focus from all our students. Thank you again for having your students prepared for school.

Have a great weekend!

All the best,

Mr. Moose    Mr. Stroud

Late Arrivals:

We continue to notice an increase in student late arrivals in the morning. Please keep in mind that school begins at 8:45 and plan your student arrival time accordingly. We have alerted FCPD for assistance with dangerous drop offs on Viking Drive. We encourage everyone to leave a few minutes earlier and use our kiss and ride.

Universal Mask Will Remain a Critical Layered Prevention Strategy

FCPS continues to require universal mask wearing in alignment with CDC guidance. Our layered prevention strategies have proven effective in keeping transmission rates low. Adhering to our layered prevention strategies, especially universal masking, keeps our schools open and safe places for students to learn. Read more on the FCPS website.

Masks and Water Bottles:

We ask that you please send your child with a mask (and possibly a spare) to school each day.  We are running low on disposable masks. Additionally, we have a very small number of water bottles for student use, please send your child with a water bottle to school each day.  We have several filling stations located inside the building and trailers, so students can have as much water as needed. Thank you for your cooperation.
