 Families enjoyed the outdoor Chorus concert performed by fifth and sixth grade students and led by music teachers Ms. Waggoner and Ms. Hibbits.
Dear Wakefield Forest Families,
As we enter the month of February I want to address some of the negative press lately about educators. While our WFES community consistently supports teachers and staff, it can certainly be challenging to block out the negativity around us. Teachers and staff are balancing quite a lot, often late into the evening, to keep school open and provide high quality instruction. This is an article where one of our amazing parents, Mel Worthington, shows her support for our school community. As we get closer to Valentine’s Day I hope you will help me shower our teachers and staff with love to refill their buckets.
We had a lovely outdoor chorus concert last week. We appreciate our music teachers Alisa Waggoner and Gina Hibbitts for continuing to provide a wonderful music program.

SCA Food Drive ends this Friday, February 11 |
Thank you to all families who have already donated! Please donate non-perishable items - no glass containers, and please be sure to check expiration dates. Items will be donated to local Fairfax food bank, Food for Others. The SCA would like to challenge each classroom to collect 25 items per week!
