Wishing good fortune to those in our community who celebrate Lunar New Year! In many east Asian countries, the Lunar New Year is one of the most important holidays of the year and is all about ushering in luck & prosperity with family. #YearOfTheTiger #OurFCPS @FCPSnews
Congratulations to Mr. Gillen and his family on the birth of his new daughter, Sydney Gillen.
Mimi Krauss has been a dedicated instructional assistant at Little Run for the past 14 years! We would like to thank Mimi for all the support she has provided to our students and staff, and for her active involvement within our school community. We wish her a happy retirement and hope she will come back to visit us! Her last day is today, January 28th.
Dawn Clawes has been part of our Little Run family for the last 16 years and we are so grateful for all that she has contributed to our school and specifically our preschool program. We wish her all the best as she leaves us to explore a new opportunity. Her last day will be Friday, February 4th.
 We need your help in projecting the Kindergarten enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year. Virginia Law, section 22.1-254, requires that children who will reach their fifth birthday on or before September 30, 2022, must be enrolled in Kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year unless the parent or guardian notifies the school in writing that they do not wish the child to attend school until the following year.
If you have a child who will be five years old on or before September 30, 2022, please complete this form and return it no later than March 1, 2022. If any of your neighbors have children who will be eligible for Kindergarten, please share this information with them, as we are especially interested in reaching those Little Run families who do not have children currently attending school.
The information on this survey will help the school plan for adequate facilities and personnel for the 2022-2023 school year. We thank you in advance for returning the form no later than March 1, 2022.
