Lightspeed Parent Report Request
FCPS has new tools to help parents and guardians know more about their child’s activity on any FCPS device. These tools are provided by Lightspeed, our internet content filtering service, at no cost to families.
You may sign up for a weekly Parent Report, which will provide a list of the top sites your child visited. If you want more detailed information, sign up for the Internet Use Parent portal and log-in anytime to see more detail about your child’s browsing and “pause” access to the internet during non-school hours.
Find out more and sign up for these services on our website.
Want to see your report card faster?
Receive your report card faster and help save trees by opting in to receive “Paperless” Report Cards (that can be printed through ParentVUE). These will be available several days before paper versions are available! 2nd quarter report cards are now available so help us avoid printing report cards by signing up today!
Parents/Guardians may opt into “Go Paperless” for report cards by following the below instructions:
- Parents/Guardians can take advantage of the paperless option, by logging into ParentVUE, then going to “My Account” and selecting "Go Paperless!". This is the only way to keep a paper report card from being generated for students at the secondary level. All parents who share the same address as the student must have a SIS ParentVUE account and must select the paperless option.
Class of 2024 Class Forum "Virtual"
Monday, Feb 7, 9:30 a.m.
Our next Sophomore Class Forum will take place Monday, Feb 7th, at 9:30AM. You’re invited to join Director of Student Services, Braden Peterson, and College and Career Specialist, Hannah Wolff, for a conversation about Class Curriculum for Junior year, AP classes and testing, and SATs vs. ACTs.
As a reminder, counselors will discuss curriculum with our students in a group setting during Langley Links at the beginning of February, followed by 1:1 meetings between students and their counselors to make curriculum choices for next year beginning Feb 9th.
Academic advising and course information is available here , on the Student Services portion of the Langley website. Please consult this trove of information and then submit additional questions using this form .
This forum will be virtual, and we will provide a link here and on our FB page closer to the date of the event.
