 Character Strength of the Week:
OPM Supporting Others When They Struggle
"For a community to be whole and healthy,
it must be based on people's love and concern for each other."
~Millard Fuller
As part of our celebration of Black History Month, Dranesville will be hosting four nights of teachers and parents reading books to our school community. These readings will occur from February 14-18 from 6pm to 7pm via Zoom.
We love when parents and families participate as readers. If you are interested in reading a book in either English or Spanish please sign up using the Google Forms below. DES also has books in both English and Spanish that you are welcome to borrow to read.
Thank you for being a part of Dranesville's celebration of Black History Month.

Have you noticed a Dranesville employee going above and beyond?
The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the employees at Dranesville who go above and beyond!
