January 20 Virtual Learning Day
As was communicated by Dr. Brabrand, all Fairfax County Public Schools will provide virtual instruction on any days missed due to inclement weather for the remainder of the school year. Due to the weather forecast, tomorrow will be a virtual learning school day. It is also the end of the quarter and school will end two hours early. The day will begin at 10:30 a.m. and end at 1:15. Students should log on to Schoology and enter the zoom session at 10:30 a.m. The schedule for the day is included below.

Support for parents: https://www.fcps.edu/schoology/parents/welcome
Our teachers and staff will make sure students have the devices and accessories they need and have been reviewing how to log in to their virtual learning tools. Teachers will let students know what to expect for their classes.
At home, we ask that you do a few simple things that will make an inclement weather virtual learning day run smoothly:
- Make sure students charge their laptops each night.
- Remind your child that the inclement weather virtual learning day schedule includes a two-hour delay (We will start at 10:30) so they can check their laptops and make sure they are able to log in properly.
- Remind your child that attendance will be taken on inclement weather virtual learning days.
Technology Readiness Steps for Students
- Log onto your laptop with your student ID and password.
- Connect your laptop to your internet connection.
- If you have any issues with these steps from home, go to the Tech Support for Families page, to submit a ticket for support.
