Fairfax Villa Student Laptop Restarts
As we get ready for the return of our students to Fairfax Villa, we would like for all students in grades 3-6 to RESTART their laptops at home today. Since this is not just turning the laptop off and on, but rather a different process, please follow these steps:
- Use the power button to turn on the laptop.
- After logging in, click on the windows icon in the bottom left corner.
- Click on the power icon and then on RESTART.
After your student does this, they can use the same procedure to power off the laptop. It may take a few minutes or re-doing the process to get all of the updates from FCPS.

For students in grades K-2 whose laptops are here at school, we are working on doing those restarts here today.
