We hope you are enjoying the last weekend of Winter Break. Our varsity boys' basketball team won the championship at the George Long Holiday Tournament at Wakefield High School. Andrew Nields and Leoule Yared were named to the All Tournament team and Max Lanham was named the Most Valuable Player. Congratulations on a great tournament.
For the first two weeks of the New Year, only family members will be able to attend home sporting events. This information was sent to all families a couple days ago by FCPS. Ticket details will be sent to our teams soon.

Updated Vaccination Policy
Annandale Athletic Families,
COVID-19 screening testing for students, including student-athletes, has started. We also know many student-athletes are currently in the middle of their two-dose cycle and additional time for testing to begin will allow those students to complete their vaccinations. Students are eligible to try out for their sport if they have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Pre-register here for testing if your child is 14-15 years old and not vaccinated or if they are 16-18 years old and have a medical or religious exemption. If your child was vaccinated, please submit your card to the activities office.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends school-based testing to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to keep schools open safely.
