New SLES Family Resource Center (FRC)
Considering Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, the mission of our Resource Center is to meet the physiological and safety needs of our students and families. This includes food, clothing, water, personal security, resources and health. Our FRC can meet the following needs of our students and families:
* Pantry of items: Toilet paper, laundry pods/detergent, toothbrushes/toothpaste, soap, trash bags, shampoo/conditioner, napkins, Clorox
* Clothing: winter gear, socks, underwear, sweaters, replacement clothing for soiled students
* Additional: blankets, backpacks, water bottles, school supplies
Please reach out to our PTA Care and Share Coordinator, Kim Fazio, or our SLES family liaison, Kate Pennington or Principal Morris with questions you have about our new FRC and how we can provide support for our students and families. If your family could benefit from this resource now, you may also contact your child’s teacher or our school counselors, Raina Roop and Mersal Shaker.

NEW STRATFORD LANDING Spirit Wear Store Now Online!
The PTA is moving to a new model for spirit wear (school t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.). Rather than the PTA placing a bulk order once a year, our new online store will be open year-round. Order what you like and it will be delivered straight to your door! A portion of the sales will be returned to the PTA to help fund student initiatives and programs. https://teamlocker.squadlocker.com/#/lockers/stratford-landing-elementary-school
When you click on an individual item, you will be asked to choose between the words "Stratford Landing" or the dolphin logo on the item. Select from a variety of shirts, sweatshirts, pants and other items available for both youth and adults!
If you have any questions or comments, please email Communications VP Gretchen Kearney at communications@slpta.org.
