Another great week of Atoms Athletics. Coach Hypnar and the Atoms' Boys Basketball team locked in their first win of the season. The Atoms beat Wakefield in a buzzer beater by Andrew Nields with five seconds left in the game. Our Swim and Dive team not only beat Hayfield in the pool. They also beat them in the infamous game of Rock, Paper, Scissors before the meet! Congratulations to Trinity, Evan, Merridith and Max who are the Athletes of the Month for November. Be sure to check out the Atoms in action this week!

Updated Vaccination Policy
Annandale Athletic Families,
COVID-19 screening testing for students, including student-athletes, has started. We also know many student-athletes are currently in the middle of their two-dose cycle and additional time for testing to begin will allow those students to complete their vaccinations. Students are eligible to try out for their sport if they have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Pre-register here for testing if your child is 14-15 years old and not vaccinated or if they are 16-18 years old and have a medical or religious exemption. If your child was vaccinated, please submit your card to the activities office.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends school-based testing to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to keep schools open safely. FCPS will begin screening testing for staff on November 1 as originally scheduled.
