Lemon Road Community,
It is with tremendous pride and joy that I share with you that Morgan Birge has been named the Principal of Bonnie Brae Elementary in Fairfax, VA. Mr. Birge has been an integral part of our administrative team and the Lemon Road family for years, having made a forever impact on staff, students and families as both a coach and Assistant Principal. His leadership and collaboration inspired us to be better educators, students, and colleagues. His focus on relationships, differentiated teaching and learning, and equity will continue here and at Bonnie Brae.
We will miss Mr. Birge, yet we are thrilled for the Bonnie Brae community who couldn’t have identified a more compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated leader. Mr. Birge’s first day at Bonnie Brae will be Monday, January 3rd. Please join me in congratulating him on this accomplishment. We wish him the very best as he starts this journey at Bonnie Brae Elementary School!
Over the next few weeks we will begin interviewing to identify an Assistant Principal for Lemon Road and will keep you informed regarding the process.
