Floris Pop-Up Vaccine Location - 12/16 and 1/6- 4:30-7:00pm

Floris ES has been chosen by the Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) as a location for ‘Precision Pop-Up Clinics’ for the administration of COVID-19 vaccinations for children ages 5-11 on December 16, 2021 and January 6, 2022, from 4:30-7:00pm.

The vaccines will be administered by Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) employees, and the clinic is open to the public. This will mean additional vehicles and people arriving near/during dismissal. Because of the timing, we wanted to make families aware that Kiss-and-Ride will be impacted on both of those dates.

To assist in a safe situation on both dates:

  • FCPS Safety and Security are working with us to determine any needed supports.
  • Additional staff will be at Kiss-and-Ride to support the increased volume.
  • All families MUST have their number in the window, so staff can easily identify our families and get students to cars safely and quickly. *If you do not have your Kiss-and-Ride number, call the main office ASAP.
  • If possible, please have your child ride the bus or walk (if you are a designated walker) on both of those Thursdays.
  • Please bring your patience. This will make dismissal a bit longer than usual, and patience will be needed.
