Dear Franklin Sherman Families,
Yesterday, we hosted our 2nd COVID-19 vaccination clinic at FSES. I don't have the final numbers from the FCHD regarding the number of vaccines administered, yet it looked like we had many families participating!
With a few short weeks until our next break, we will continue to be vigilant with our mitigation strategies. Please be sure to monitor your children and "when in doubt, keep them out" if they are not feeling well. Also, we have had a recent uptick in the number of students requesting masks from the front office. This is a great time to check the backpack and restock those back-up masks.
This week, we recognize National Special Education Day. At Franklin Sherman, we have great teachers serving our students with special needs!
Have a great week!
Kathleen Quigley
National Special Education Day is recognized each year on December 2nd and commemorates President Gerald Ford’s signing of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) in 1975. |
