Happy Thanksgiving

We are so Grateful

As we approach Thanksgiving, we are grateful for our Lions and the growth we see in them academically, socially, and emotionally. Additionally, we are grateful to the total LTES community and to you, our families, for the support, encouragement, and partnership.

This past week we celebrated some exciting events around the Towne. Click on the links below and celebrate with us.

  • Our 2nd grade students sang in a showcase which brought joy to all who heard them. We are including the link below so that you can take a look at our wonderful 2nd grade performers. Enjoy!  2nd grade Showcase Recording
  • The WLTS News Crew was featured on not one, but TWO local news stations!  We are so proud of our future newscasters and can't wait to grow this program and get even more students involved in the daily news here at London Towne. WLTS Student News Crew Featured on 2 Local News Stations
  • We also had the pleasure of hosting the 2021 Macy's London Towne  Parade.  Students made floats and marched them across the big stage.  If you are looking for something to put a smile on your face, look no further! Check out the LTES Thanksgiving Parade.

We wish each and every one of you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with time to reflect on our loved ones and all of the good in our lives. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

See you on Monday, November 29th!

Important Reminder: Animals are Prohibited on School Grounds

Please leave your pets at home when you are dropping off and picking up students from school.  Per FCPS Regulation 2125, in order to protect the health and safety of students, employees, and visitors, animals are prohibited on school property.

Exceptions will be made for service animals to accommodate a person’s disability and/or for education-related purposes, such as lessons, class pets, and/or mascots. The purpose of this regulation is to provide guidelines and procedures for evaluating whether an animal may be permitted on school property under one of these exceptions, including adherence to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended.

Help us keep our Lions safe by leaving your pets at home during arrival and dismissal. f you need additional information, please call our Ms. Padmore, Ms. Moore, or Ms. Vigil at 703-227-5400.
