The Langley High School Choral Department is excited to announce the return of the Renaissance Feaste at 7 pm on Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4.  Join us as we journey back to Merrie Olde England for a Festive Holiday Feaste and Serenade featuring the Magnificent Madrigals accompanied by the charming Chamber Choir and jesters and minstrels from the Concert, Treble, and Treble Select choirs, all in their liveliest period garb.

This is Dr. Mac Lambert, Jr.’s 20th year as Choral Director at Langley High School, so everyone is particularly grateful to be able to bring back the popular Feaste, re-envisioned a bit for Covid.  We will provide glorious food, entertainment, and traditional madrigal songs such as “Deck the Halls” and “Masters of this Hall” in our richly decorated banquet room known as Langley Halle.  Because of the dastardly Covid pestilence, we will make accommodations at our great performance.  We plan to have fewer guests to enjoy more space and food plated and sealed individually to be safe.  Our minstrels will wear special masks when performing and our guests too will don masks when not eating. With fewer seats available, the crowds have already purchased two-thirds of the Halle, so we suggest you buy your tickets early.  Tickets are $40 for Lords and Ladies, and $25 for those of fewer years and those who toil at this place of learning.

FCPS Student Laptops

Please encourage your student to fully charge their FCPS laptop every night and use this laptop daily in school.  FCPS student laptops are sent weekly updates and are forced to restart to receive the updates.  A FCPS laptop that is not frequently used may be several updates and forced restarts behind and may experience issues when it is used again. Any student that is experiencing an issue with an FCPS laptop or application can find more information on support here.
