11/24-11/26 - Thanksgiving Holiday Break
11/29 - Students return on an ODD Day schedule
|
Hello KJMS Families!
On Thursday, we held Career Day for our students, and it was a wonderful day! Students attended three different career sessions and were encouraged to “Dress for Success” to impress our guests. We had over 80 guests presenting in 58 rooms around the school. Careers ranged from Realtors to Firefighters/Paramedics to Lawyers to a Voice Actress! We also had speakers come in from local businesses in the area including:
- Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
- Bodyworks by Rudi
- Dixer
- Adtek
- Royelles
We are tremendously grateful to our guests who took time out of their day to come and speak to our students. We also would like to thank our students who asked really insightful and thoughtful questions of the presenters. We heard from several speakers how impressed they were with the students, many even expressed excitement to return next year for Career Day! Thank you to everyone who helped make Career Day a great success!
Have a wonderful weekend!
