Fall picture retakes will be held Friday, November 19th. If you would like your child to have their photo redone, simply return any photo packages ordered (if applicable) and notify your child's teacher prior to November 19th. (All students who were absent on picture day will have their photo taken.)

FCPS is encouraging all parents whose children are eligible to get vaccinated. We know that vaccination is the way out of this pandemic and we are asking you to help us continue to make our schools as safe as they possibly can be.

There are multiple opportunities to get a COVID-19 vaccine in the Fairfax Health District right now. Most sites will be providing vaccines by appointment only. These include:

Pediatric and Family Medicine Providers: call your doctor to make an appointment.

Pharmacies, grocery stores, and urgent care facilities: visit www.vaccines.gov (www.vacunas.gov) to search for a vaccine appointment.

Are you interested in referring your child for Level IV services? Screening for Level IV services is for students in grades 2-6. The deadline for submitting a Level IV referral and supporting documents is Wednesday, December 15th. Please use the links below for easy access to the fillable documents. In preparation for the Thanksgiving break when schools are closed (November 24-26), the following plan is in place to distribute meal kits:

Wednesday, November 17: Additional meals (7 days of breakfast and lunch, along with 14 days of afternoon snack and supper meals) will be served in one meal kit.

Wednesday, November 24: Meal kit distribution is canceled.

Wednesday, December 1: Regular meal kit distribution resumes.
