Community Service Drive - #ChesterbrookGivesBack
Help our students support others in need this holiday season.
Clothing Drive- Nov. 4- Nov. 17
Student Ambassadors are leading a schoolwide clothing drive. We are collecting new undergarments and socks as well as new or gently used coats, hats and gloves for Parklawn Elementary. Students should clear any donations with parents/guardians prior to bringing them to school. All sizes are welcome. Monetary donations are not able to be accepted. Donation boxes will be near each grade level as well as near the library and SACC doors. We have set a goal of 500 items.
Parklawn has a high need population. In addition, the school has received a high number of Afghani refugees. We would like to do our part to help them cover their basics and prepare for the cold weather.

Novel Approval Committee
We looking for a diverse committee of Chesterbrook staff and parents to read and evaluate the novels teachers want to implement in book clubs. We will analyze these books for age and grade appropriateness as well as sensitive material.
