Student Rights

Message from the Crossfield Front Office

This week all families will be receiving a Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) letter in the mail.  FCPS attached the SR&R to your Parent Vue accounts in SIS giving you the opportunity to complete this online.  We are in need of over 200 families to sign and return their forms.  Please take a moment to read the letter from the Superintendent, go to the links to read more about SR&R, and then sign/return the acknowledgement form on the back of the letter.  This form can be returned to your child's teacher.

Thank you for your quick response.

If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie at or Kristy at

Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid

All families received a Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid.  Every student is required to return the form to their child's teacher.

*If you need a new form, please email Kristy Kim at

Returning this form is important because information from this survey results in an additional $3 million in grants each year from the U.S. Department of Education. These funds are used to support all Fairfax County public schools and centers.

For each school-aged child in your household, please complete, sign, date, and return the survey to your child's school. If sections 1 and 2 of the survey do not apply to you, just check the boxes in Section 3. All forms must be signed, dated, and returned by November 10. All results are confidential
