Helpful weekly tip is to be used at home with your child. These will help your child with their reading skills at home. By doing this along with your child you will be modeling best practices.
Schedule dedicated reading time. Make sure to take some time each day to read to your child. Also, spend some time where everyone in the family is reading their own book so your children can see you as a reader.
Example: Make it work for your family and find a time that you can be consistent with. Right before getting ready for bed or after dinner clean up might be a good time. You can always change it if needed.
