Generous, socially conscious Mustangs sold handmade loom bracelets and rings to raise money for St. Jude’s Hospital. Congratulations to Alyssa, Bella, Maddy, Nicole, Zuri, Sam, Anu, Raven and Tina for raising over $250 for a great cause.


Class Pumpkin Decorating

Spirit Week continues with a class pumpkin decorating contest! View the pumpkins in this newsletter as well as in Features on the Mosaic ES website and Twitter. Voting is on right now. There are two categories: Most Creative and Most Spirited for grades PK-3 and 4-6. Winners will be announced on Twitter and our website at the end of the week.

Community Meeting – Mosaic Elementary School Renovation and Addition

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) invites you to a virtual meeting on October 27, 2021 at 7:00p.m. to learn more about the planned renovation and addition to Mosaic Elementary School. Volunteers for Health Screening

Mosaic ES will have its yearly hearing and vision screening on Wednesday, November 3rd and Friday, November 5th. Our school health aide is looking for volunteers to assist with the health screenings and organizing the students. The Book Fair is Coming

The Mosaic Elementary Book Fair will take place in our school library November 15 through 19. Students will visit the book fair to make wish lists and shop. Families may browse the online fair at www.bookwormcentral.com; search “Mosaic”. The online fair also features a Book Drive, where every dollar goes to students who may not otherwise be able to purchase a book.
