Impact Aid Form

*PLEASE ASK YOUR CHILD FOR THE IMPACT AID FORM HANDED OUT DURING 3RD PERIOD*

Impact Aid programs and grants are designed to assist local school districts that enroll federally connected students. During the month of October, the survey will be distributed to all FCPS families. Langley High School will send the survey form home with student’s on or after October 19th during Langley Links (Period 3). Please ask your child about the form and have them return it to their period 3 teacher once it is completed no later than Friday, November 5.

For each school-aged child in your household, please complete, sign, date, and return the survey by November 5. If sections 1 and 2 of the survey do not apply to you, just check the boxes in Section 3. FCPS staff will process the information with the utmost confidentiality. To ensure complete accuracy, please use the pre-filled survey form your child has received.

For questions regarding the Student-Parent Survey for Federal Impact Aid, please call email ImpactAid@fcps.edu. Additional information about Impact Aid programs and grants is available on the U.S. Department of Education's website at DoED Impact Aid Programs.

Class of 2025

Please join us Tuesday, October 26, from 9:30 am - 11am in Langley’s Lecture Hall or via live streaming on the PTSA’s Zoom link for our first Freshman Class Forum, “Langley 101-Who Are We and Where are We Going?”. The Forums are a chance for parents and guardians to come together over coffee and learn about topics relevant to our kids’ experience at Langley.

Tuesday’s Forum will feature Braden Peterson, Director of Student Services, at Langley.  Braden will provide an engaging talk on Langley 101 - Who are We and Where are We Going?  A lot has changed over the last 18 months and some things have stayed the same.  We will discuss parenting teens, the transition to High School, and supports available for your student’s success at LHS.

Coffee, water, and individually wrapped bars will be provided.

Logistics: Parents attending in person should park in the bus loop near the back of the school, approach Door 9, use your phone to scan the QR code (or fill out a paper form) for health screening purposes, come up the stairs (with masks, please), and sign in.  We will be there to greet you and help you find the Lecture Hall.

Parents who wish to attend via Zoom should access the link via the Class of 2025’s webpage on the PTSA webpage: CLASS OF 2025 | langley
